Endeavor Summer Food Drive Provides 6,144 Meals for Low-Income Families Through the Atlanta Community Food Bank
Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) August 21, 2014 -- Endeavor, the leading provider of outsourced professional services for carriers, service providers, systems integrators, VARs, and equipment manufacturers, today announced that its employees have collected monetary contributions equivalent to 6,144 meals. Endeavor employees donated to the Atlanta Community Food Bank (ACFB) as part of the company’s summer food drive. ACFB will supply meals to low-income Georgians through its network of over 600 nonprofit partner agencies serving families and individuals in 29 metro Atlanta and north Georgia counties.
"This is easily our most successful food drive to date, as the team really exceeded expectations,” said Jacki Kirsch, Endeavor’s Executive Support Manager and food drive coordinator. “The team is always really excited about giving back to the community, and in particular the Atlanta Community Food Bank, and that definitely shows with our latest hugely successful food drive!”
As with previous food drives, the Endeavor staff was split into teams, each sponsored by a member of executive management, which promoted a friendly, if not aggressive, competition aimed at maximizing the positive impact for the Atlanta community. The strategy once again proved to be successful, and surpassed last year’s drive.
Endeavor has participated in many service projects over the years. Previous efforts include assisting Habitat for Humanity in building homes in the Atlanta area and the Hunger Walk, which is also sponsored in part by the Atlanta Community Food Bank.
