Odessa, Texas (PRWEB) August 21, 2014
Saulsbury Industries (Saulsbury), a leading provider of engineering, procurement, construction, maintenance and fabrication services to heavy industrial leaders, has announced the acquisition of a 60,000 square foot fabrication facility formerly owned by another fabrication company in Henderson, Texas. Henderson is approximately 180 miles northeast of Houston, Texas.
In 2013, Saulsbury successfully began operations in East Texas with the opening of its first Henderson fabrication facility. The purchase of this larger facility will allow Saulsbury to relocate from its current 16,000 square foot leased facility in Henderson, and will greatly enhance its existing fabrication services. This expansion will enable Saulsbury to offer machine shop, vessel fabrication, laser cutting, and module fabrication and assembly services. In addition, it will allow for greater throughput of current structural and pipe fabrication. This facility will allow Saulsbury the opportunity to significantly increase its labor force, adding to its current team in Henderson and helping Saulsbury meet its clients ‘ever‐growing fabrication needs.
"We are excited about this expansion as it aligns with our strategy to serve the Gulf Coast and the ability to service new clients and industries as well as our existing EPC clients,” said Bubba Saulsbury, Sr. VP Business Development. “There are a lot of exciting things happening today at Saulsbury and this expansion opportunity is at the forefront. We have had a great experience in Henderson and the purchase of this facility represents our long‐term commitment to our employees as well as the Henderson/East Texas community and proves that Saulsbury is here to stay!"
