Today, SaaS-based eCommerce platform, ShopVisible, announces its latest quarterly technology release that allows brands, manufacturers, and retailers to provide an enhanced omnichannel end-user experience. Among the many enhancements in this release, the company has redesigned its checkout page, providing a seamless purchasing experience, regardless of device, to help reduce abandonment and increase conversions.

Streamlining the checkout experience across devices is becoming mission critical to meet the needs of tablet and mobile shoppers. In ShopVisible’s latest Influence & Impact report, the company found that site traffic from mobile devices and tablets continues to increase in 2014, capturing 38 percent of all site traffic during the first half of the year. However, despite the growing percentage of traffic, conversion rates remain much lower on mobile devices and tablets, signaling a greater need to focus on an omnichannel purchasing experience. In response to these compelling eCommerce trends, ShopVisible is equipping its customers with the functionality necessary to meet today’s savvy consumers and business buyers’ shopping expectations.

Additional multichannel functionality available during checkout includes the ability to provide in-store pickup options, and multi-ship to addresses for both guest checkout and gift messaging.

Other enhancements now available in this latest release includes A/B testing improvements powering online retailers with enhanced multivariate testing capabilities for mobile sites as well as desktop versions. These testing improvements will allow retailers to optimize each experience –regardless of device – based on user preference and behaviors.
