The Academy of Fencing Masters Releases Its 2014-2015 Schedule for San Francisco Bay Area Fencing Classes
Campbell, CA (PRWEB) August 20, 2014 -- AFM’s new schedule went into effect on August 1 and runs through July 31, 2015. AFM provides group fencing classes, private fencing lessons, and fencing camps for fencers in San Jose and the surrounding cities. In the last year, AFM has seen tremendous growth in club size and the skills of its fencers, particularly in its youth fencing classes.
According to AFM founder, Irina Chirashnya, “We’re thrilled with the growth that we’ve seen and we are committed to continuing to challenge our athletes and provide the right opportunities for them to grow in both their skills and their love of fencing. We spent a considerable amount of time making sure that our new schedule is designed with these goals in mind, and we’re excited to see it in action.”
AFM’s new schedule is also designed to allow room for continued growth throughout the season. As their youth fencers grow up to be full-time competitive fencers and new youths continue to join, AFM is prepared and excited to keep expanding.
Here are some highlights of the new schedule:
• A new Youth Competitive Class for those young fencers who are ready for the next level!
• A Conditioning Class on Fridays that is complimentary to all Competitive-level students.
• A Combined Competitive Youth and Junior class on Saturday mornings to allow for more training hours, more advanced drills, and cross-training between age groups.
AFM also continues its personalized approach that includes staff meetings and individual parent/coach/fencer meetings to ensure that each fencer is in the right classes and getting the right training.
