ACTS is pleased to announce its CEO James Farhat will be speaking at the JaxSPUG meeting on Thursday, August 21st at Aloft Jacksonville Tapestry Park, Deer Lake Drive West in Jacksonville, FL. James will be giving an “Overview of SharePoint 2013 and Office 365 Hybrid Scenarios and Futures.”
Cloud computing has become a successful computing model that enables organizations to realize many advantages. However, according to a recent Forrester study, “Only 8% plan a full deployment in the Office 365 cloud, but an additional 26% will move to a hybrid cloud, on-premises deployment.” In his speech, James will explain what this means for customers, and will offer guidance for the initial phase of the hybrid environment deployment process with SharePoint Server 2013 and SharePoint Online.
The Jacksonville SharePoint User Group (JaxSPUG) is dedicated to bringing like-minded individuals and partners to collaborate and share information around SharePoint, portals, taxonomy, maintenance and governance to provide solutions and share ideas. Register for the event here.
“ACTS recognizes JaxSPUG’s passion for SharePoint and we applaud it,” says CEO James Farhat. “SharePoint is a highly beneficial collaborative tool that can fit into any organization. Not only do we want to make every effort to aid in educating our community about the benefits of SharePoint, but we want to educate ourselves by learning best practices to share with our customers.”
