BreakThrough Physical Therapy (BTPT) is proud to announce that Katie Thomas, PT, DPT, has joined the staff at their North 35th Street clinic in Morehead City and will focus primarily on Women’s Health.
Dr. Thomas graduated from East Carolina University in 2014 with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy, and has a passion for specialized work in Women's Health Physical Therapy. During her Doctoral program, Katie focused on clinical experiences and a specific clinical rotation in a Women's Health clinic in Greenville. She is currently working towards her Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner Certificate at the Herman and Wallace Institute.

Dr. Thomas’ extensive knowledge within the Women’s Health Physical Therapy realm enables her to treat women with pelvic pain, incontinence, chronic low back pain, SI joint/hip dysfunction, and pregnancy/post-partum related low back and pelvic dysfunctions. She has experience treating both men and women’s orthopaedic issues, as well.
