The Seattle Seahawks and Chicago Bear Stadiums are set to make a big impact by encouraging people to cut-down on the use of gas-powered vehicles at tailgating events. Both stadiums are outfitted with electronic charging stations.

MetLife Stadium, Automated Light Control System
MetLife stadium plays host to two NFL teams. The New York Jets and Giants get to call this stadium home. The stadium has installed an automated light control system to reduce the amount of energy consumed during games. The automated light control system at the stadium also helps to reduce the energy bill.
Lincoln Financial Field, Alternative Energy
The Philadelphia Eagles call Lincoln Financial Field home. The stadium is the first-ever professional stadium in the U.S. to be self-sufficient in its use of energy. The stadium uses wind and solar power to operate the stadium.
