EventMobi Staff Win Two Global Event Industry Awards and Recognition from the White House
Toronto, ON (PRWEB) August 21, 2014 -- Meetings & Incentive Travel (M&IT) has inducted EventMobi CEO Bob Vaez into its prestigious Hall of Fame under the "Industry Innovator" category. The recognition comes as EventMobi continues to expand its mobile event app technology to include integrated registration and a robust audience response system.
Supporting professional event planners and marketers, EventMobi makes it easy to create and customize mobile event apps for meetings, conferences and trade shows. Having supported over 5,000 events in 40 countries, EventMobi is currently the #1 provider of event app technology.
A team of five staff only two years ago, Vaez has grown his team to over 50 employees across its Canada, US and Germany offices. Entirely self-funded, Vaez credits his company's culture of problem solving and innovation as the reason for success: "By asking questions and understanding the challenges our clients face every day, we can provide them with a unique innovative solution that not only makes their lives easier, but also creates a better event experience for their attendees."
Also this month, Meeting Professionals International (MPI) selected Marketing Coordinator Courtney Stanley to receive the 2014 MPI Chairman's Award. The honor recognizes inspiring leadership among MPI's 18,500 members around the world.
Collaborating with her team, Stanley has launched EventMobi's worldwide mobile event app education series where event professionals gather to discuss technology and its influence on face-to-face meetings. With lunch meetings in London, New York and San Francisco among other business centers, over 1,500 event professionals have participated in the event app education series.
Receiving her award, Stanley explains, "Our industry has the power to impact the way people meet, the way people learn and also influences our ecological footprint on a global scale.”
With the two awards, along with recent recognition from the White House, EventMobi is quickly becoming a technology leader for professional events. Cited in the President's Climate Data Initiative, EventMobi and Rock 'n Wrap it Up teamed up to utilize EPA climate data to help promote awareness of climate change and reduce carbon pollution.
Vaez explains, "Business gets done at face-to-face meetings. The technology we are developing today to help people learn and connect will help reduce waste, drive innovation and spur future economic growth."
EventMobi continues its education focus offering resources on event audience response systems, event app promotion and various other tools to help meetings go paperless.
