Chally Group Worldwide announces the launch of the Global Leadership Research, featuring Chief Executive Magazine’s 9th annual “Best Companies for Leaders”, the premier ongoing study that examines key trends in best practices for leadership development.

Leading companies will be featured in the January/February 2015 issue of Chief Executive magazine. Participating companies will benefit from benchmarking their performance with industry leaders; be in position to identify best practices tips and tactics; use report findings in recruitment and retention efforts; boost employee pride and morale; and be recognized for high performance in the growth and development of leadership talent.

Chally is calling on CEOs and senior human resources executives around the world to provide insight into the leading practices that enhance the long-term financial impact of effective leadership development. The resulting Global Leadership Research Report uncovers evolving trends and recognizes innovative approaches used to meet challenges faced by companies committed to growing and investing in their own talent.

Each year the research study identifies an area of concentration to focus on more particularly. Previous reports have highlighted Public versus Private company best practices; HR versus CEO viewpoints on leadership development; and the unique impact of the Millennial generation as they assume leadership roles. This year’s report will focus on the unique challenges in leadership in the Sales function.

The sales professional is the most important factor in determining what customers' purchase, how much they pay, and how long they stay with the vendors they choose from among the thousands competing for their patronage. Salesperson effectiveness accounts for 39% of customers' buying decisions and is the single most important factor - more influential than price and the availability of a total solution. With salespeople now the leading influence on topline growth, their effectiveness represents a key added value to their customers and a competitive advantage to their employers.
