Continued Growth in 2014 Drives Promotions and New Hires at Western States
Fairfield, OH, USA (PRWEB) August 22, 2014 -- Due to the impressive and continuing growth of Western States, the company promotes multiple team members from within the organization and welcomes four new team members during the first and second quarters of 2014. The promotions include Celia Cano Ramón, Human Resource Manager; Emily Giuliano, North American Sales Manager; Janet Spisak, Inside Sales and Marketing Specialist and Cody Sorrell, Buyer. The new team members are John Cherry, Asia Regional Sales Manager; Fernando Viera, International Sales Manager; Tonia Muhammad, Sales and Marketing Assistant; and Eric Parsley, IT Support.

CELIA CANO RAMÓN: Human Resource Manager
Cano Ramón has been with Western States since 2007 and has served in various roles (expediter, buyer and systems support). Celia, originally from Barcelona, Spain has a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.), Management and Human Resource Development from Xavier University. Giuliano came to Western States in July, 2013. Graduating from the University of Cincinnati, Emily has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Chemical Engineering. NEW TEAM MEMBERS
JOHN CHERRY: Asia Regional Sales Manager
John began his current position with Western States as Asia Regional Sales Manager in June but he was originally affiliated with Western States as a consultant and analyst in April 2012.
Before joining Western States John spent nearly sixteen years in the United States Marine Corps serving in a variety of assignments including assignments in telecommunications and security cooperation. In 2011 John transitioned from active duty to the Marine Corps Reserves so that he could earn a Master’s degree in International Development at Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, Thailand.
In addition to his degree from Chulalongkorn University John also has a Master’s degree in National Security Affairs from the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California and a Bachelor’s degree in East Asian Studies from the George Washington University in Washington D.C.

FERNANDO VIERA: International Sales Manager
Originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina, Fernando holds a Master’s Degree in Economics with an International business focus from Wright States University in Dayton, Ohio. Viera has over 15 years’ experience in international sales in over 35 countries. Prior to coming to Western States, Viera was in sales for the capital equipment industry, the air-moving industry, and the industrial abrasive industry.
Viera has lived in Argentina, Brazil, and Spain. He is fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. His extensive business travel has taken him to Colombia, Uruguay, Bolivia, Venezuela, Germany, France, Italy, Saudi Arabia, South Africa and various other locations.
