Eriksen Translations Wins Stevie® Award in 2014 International Business Awards
Brooklyn, NY (PRWEB) August 21, 2014 -- Eriksen Translations (http://www.eriksen.com), a leading provider of multilingual services in over 100 languages, has been named the winner of a Bronze Stevie® Award in the Best Overall Web Design category in The 11th Annual International Business Awards.
The International Business Awards are the world’s premier business awards program. All individuals and organizations worldwide – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small – are eligible to submit nominations. The 2014 IBAs received entries from more than 60 nations and territories.
Nicknamed the Stevies from the Greek word for “crowned,” the awards will be presented to winners at a gala awards banquet at the Westin Paris – Vendôme Hotel in Paris, France on 10 October.
The newly redesigned Eriksen Translations website was first launched in English, with localized versions in French, German, Norwegian, Portuguese, Simplified Chinese, Spanish, and Swedish following this summer. The new site features an easy-to-navigate responsive format and fresh new content which highlights the capabilities of the staff and emphasizes the company’s personal approach and longstanding focus on customer service.
“We are honored to receive this award and congratulate all who were nominated for their impressive business achievements,” said Vigdis Eriksen, founder and CEO of Eriksen Translations. “We worked with an exceptional team to design the site and localize the pages for visitors from around the world.”
Eriksen.com was redesigned with the help of Lúgh Studio (http://www.lughstudio.com), Mike Metz (http://www.mikemetz.com), and Ferseta Consulting (http://www.ferseta.com). Eriksen was also awarded a platinum 2014 Hermes Creative Award for overall website design.
