Ash Knowlton of McCaffrey Homes Appointed to Board of the California Building Industry Association
FRESNO, Calif. (PRWEB) August 25, 2014 -- Ash Knowlton, VP of Construction for McCaffrey Homes, a leading homebuilder based in Fresno, Calif., has been appointed to serve on the board of directors of the California Building Industry Association (CBIA).
The CBIA, a trade association based in Sacramento, represents thousands of companies across California. Member firms include homebuilders, trade contractors, architects, engineers, designers, suppliers and other industry professionals.

Founded in 1943, the CBIA focuses on legislative, technical, communications, membership and educational initiatives. In June 2014, a subsidiary of CBIA, the California Homebuilding Foundation, inducted Robert A. McCaffrey and Karen Bonadelle McCaffrey, the founders of McCaffrey Homes, into the CHF Housing Hall of Fame.

An industry and community leader, Knowlton has served on the Board of Directors of the Building Industry Association of Fresno/Madera Counties. He is a former member of the Young Presidents’ Organization of San Joaquin Valley and supports charitable organizations, including The Global Medical Relief Fund. Knowlton received a Bachelor of Business Administration from California State University, Fresno, where he was a Division 1 collegiate athlete.
