Lance Taschner Named as Wave Crest Vice President Products and Business Development
Fort Lauderdale, Fla. (PRWEB) August 21, 2014 -- Wave Crest Group Limited, a multi-currency digital payments platform that offers full-service, global solutions, has named Lance Taschner as vice president products and business development for the organization’s US operations.
Taschner comes to Wave Crest from mobile payments provider Wipit. As chief technology officer, he led the product design and software development of the Sprint, Boost, and Wipit mobile wallets. Wipit’s platform was one of the first to allow customers to load cash into their wallet to pay for alternate financials services and participate in e-commerce activities.
“With deep expertise in the payments and mobile industries, Lance will play a central role in expanding and enhancing Wave Crest’s innovative payment solutions across key markets,” said Miles Paschini, Wave Crest group president. “His experience will further our technology-enabled delivery of full-service payment solutions to business and government.”
Taschner’s experience includes leadership roles at Blackhawk Networks, where he was responsible for managing the company’s prepaid card issuance and technology divisions; and VHA Wireless where, as a key member of the leadership team, he built and managed all aspects of the technology organization.
