The SAE 2014 Aerospace Manufacturing and Automated Fastening (AMAF) Conference & Exhibition will be held Sept. 23-25 at the Salt Palace Convention Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. The biennial event provides attendees with reviews and assessments of new innovations and processes, all in an effort to address the challenges and changes affecting the aerospace industry today.
Keynote presentations will be held the morning of Tuesday, Sept. 23 and will be delivered by:
- Steve Earl, Aerospace Structures Deputy General Manager and Commercial Programs Vice President for ATK – "Future of Composites in Commercial Aviation";
- James Diamond, Technical Director for the Ogden Air Logistics Complex, Hill Air Force Base, Utah – "Behind the Fence: Hill Air Force Base".
The technical sessions focus on technology, practices and new processes being developed – allowing aerospace professionals to stay up-to-date and prepared for the future.

Discussions will cover new legislative requirements and government mandates that drive the future of the industry. During the exhibition, attendees will have access to leading suppliers of aerospace automations as well as the latest tools and manufacturing equipment.
