GeniusCentral Systems, Inc., has recently expanded its team to include President John Miles, a former Dell, Lowe’s and Catalina Marketing executive with more than 20 years of C-level experience. Miles has been recognized as an industry leader and worldwide innovator by The Wall Street Journal, was recognized as a Computerworld Premier 100 IT Leader and has won the CIO 100 Award three times.

During his time at Catalina Marketing, Miles created a world-class cloud-based digital media stack for the company, including cloud services, personalization, mobile platforms, consumer platforms, infrastructure, technical ops, R&D and supporting development tools. He also served as a member on the Board of Directors for the Catalina Charitable Foundation.
Among his experience in the technology space, Miles was a senior member of the leadership team and CIO for Dell’s global commercial and consumer businesses. There, he helped drive fundamental change initiatives in sales operations, mergers and acquisitions, marketing, CRM, social media, finance, dell.com, channel and customer support. He built and led Dell’s IT Merger and Acquisition capabilities and was instrumental to the success of Dell’s new solutions business.

During his time as a Naval Officer in the US Navy, his responsibilities included cyber warfare, intelligence, special warfare and Operations. He has his BS in Engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy and his MS in Information Resource Management.
