Emailage, a premier fraud-reduction SaaS based business-to-business company, has launched five new features designed to provide an even more precise and reliable set of risk information for detecting online fraud.

The main feature added to Emailage’s world-renowned product gives clients the ability to combine their current email risk assessment algorithm with IP addresses for an extremely efficient fraud prevention solution. This new feature can help determine a more accurate physical location for an email owner and whether or not there is a proxy or anonymous IP involved.

Other features include enhanced API callback, customizable fraud scoring, risk-band range organization, and email syntax analysis, which will automatically compare email handles in real-time against millions of keywords commonly used to commit online deceit.

"By adding the IP to the consultation of any email address, our fraud logic can get around 20% more efficient, and now we can do things like link different email addresses to the same risky IP, which improves our models significantly. The best part is that we are not charging more for this service as part of our commitment to always improve our features for our customers," said Rei Carvalho, CEO of the company.

Serving small to Fortune 500 companies, Emailage’s proprietary Email Fraud Risk Assessment and Score solution allows clients to use one of seven system interfaces to submit individual or bulk email addresses for risk analysis. The client is then provided a unique score associated with each address along with a specific reason for the assigned level and a recommendation. This information aids companies with a definitive method to lessen uncertainty and to make decisions on how to handle any transaction.
