New York, U.S. (PRWEB) August 26, 2014

Taking advantage of the enormous potential of the transactional email industry in Northern Europe, one of Europe's leading integrated marketing service providers, Mailigen, has taken over LeaderSend, a European-based transactional email service. Since August 2014, Mailigen has enriched its email and integrated marketing services with transactional email capabilities covering full email automation.

According to the Transactional Email Report published by Experian*, the average revenue per transactional email is two to five times greater compared to bulk mailings. Total opens for order confirmation is 114.3% compared to only 14.4% for bulk mailing. Transactional emails also provide significant lift in transaction rates, for example, transactional order confirmations go up to 76%, which is eight times higher than for bulk mailings for order confirmations at only 9%. Similar data are shown in the report by Borrell Associates and Merkle** revealing that 64% of consumers consider transactional emails to be the most valuable messages in their inbox compared with newsletters and promotions at 18-20%.

“Figures show the huge potential behind the triggered email industry. While US-based Sendgrid and Mandrill have already strengthened their positions in the global market, European companies are on their way, taking for example the rapid global growth of Mailjet, a transactional email service which originated in Europe. Continuing Northern Europe's development in the transactional email industry, we at Mailigen are taking over LeaderSend in order to expand our services and offer full email automation services worldwide,” says Janis Rose, CEO of Mailigen.

Mailigen's priority has always been email automation solutions for ecommerce. The system is known for its integrations with modern ecommerce platforms such as Shopify, Magento and Salesforce. In July 2014, Mailigen received an over half a million USD seed fund, part of which is being spent on the development of a transactional email platform. LeaderSend is launching a new generation of ebills. New system-generated invoices will include not only payment details but also behavior-based and deeply personalized marketing information thus improving the overall life-cycle marketing strategy. LeaderSend will continue to develop exceptional transaction solutions for the global market.
