Mailigen Announces Takeover of LeaderSend and Develops North European Transactional Email Industry

Total opens for order confirmation is 114.3% compared to only 14.4% for bulk mailing. Transactional emails also provide significant lift in transaction rates, for example, transactional order confirmations go up to 76%, which is eight times higher than for bulk mailings for order confirmations at only 9%. Similar data are shown in the report by Borrell Associates and Merkle** revealing that 64% of consumers consider transactional emails to be the most valuable messages in their inbox compared with newsletters and promotions at 18-20%.
