Denver, CO (PRWEB) August 22, 2014
Ratner presented on copyright law and registering music copyrights with the U.S. Copyright Office.
“The primary focus is teaching musicians how to protect their music,” Ratner said, before adding, “It was a true honor to be part of this important event.”
The presentation and workshop was held as part of The SESH, a slate of events put on by the Underground Music Showcase. The event was hosted in partnership with Artists in Sync.
Ratner, an attorney and former music business professional, has experience that includes band formations and separations, management and agency deals, recording and distribution contracts, all forms of licensing, and providing general legal counsel throughout the industry.
Ratner specializes in helping artists and creative professionals navigate the complex world of contracts, licensing, and negotiations.
He works with musical artists and professionals, filmmakers and video production companies, graphic designers and web services providers, authors and publishers, photographers, fashion designers, and just about any other individual or entity in the creative industries.
“This was a great event,” Ratner said. “The goal was to simply help those in attendance gain and leverage information. That’s exactly how our company is run: Using our expertise to help others accomplish their goals.”
