VEEDIMS receives certification for demonstrating its ability to consistently provide product or service to meet customer and legal requirements, enhancing customer satisfaction and opening the way to continual improvement. VEEDIMS also meets requirements specific to the aerospace industry.

VEEDIMS, LLC, a provider of “smart” integrated power and data Internet of Things (IoT) technology solutions to improve monitoring and control, announces it has met the requirements in ISO 9001: 2008. VEEDIMS also has achieved full compliance with AS9100 Rev C Certification for Quality Management Systems in product design and development, oversight of contract manufacturing and strategic B2B relationships to reach key areas in marine, aerospace and automotive industries.

In order for VEEDIMS to become ISO 9001:2008 certified it had to pass an ISO 9001:2008 certification audit by a registrar (a certifying agency). VEEDIMS met the ISO 9001:2008 requirements with a solid Quality Management System (QMS) in place for planning and executing production, development and services, as well as an effective continuous improvement program to ensure consistent customer satisfaction. As an ISO9001:2008 certified vendor, VEEDIMS is now able to respond to requests for quotes (RFQ) from companies that make ISO9001 certification a “must-have”.

The AS9100 standard is designed to meet the stringent, complex and unique demands of the defense and commercial aerospace industry. This certification is the result of VEEDIMS passing strict audit requirements as well as a rigorous evaluation of its design engineering processes to achieve a standard of quality required in the aerospace industry.

AS9100 Rev C Certification provides reassurance for VEEDIMS’ commitment to deliver quality products and unsurpassed customer satisfaction by emphasizing continual process improvement and compliance to customer and regulatory requirements.

“AS9100 certification, a rigorous aerospace standard, represents VEEDIMS’ excellence in design, engineering, comprehensive documentation and quality assurance to ensure that our customers receive ‘smart’ solutions that are stable, reliable and of the highest quality standards available,” said Claudio R. Ballard, VEEDIMS Chairman of the Board.

Receiving these certifications is further evidence of the dedication, driven workforce and determined management team, along with the quality and robustness of VEEDIMS core technology. The successful audit also allows for measurable, more effective review of risks, improved on-time delivery and more efficient process control. VEEDIMS is committed to their partnered relationships with customers to continually improve the effectiveness of their business and unique manufacturing processes.

Headquartered in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, VEEDIMS vision is to provide IoT power + data solutions that breakthrough the barriers of connecting things in industrial environments safely and securely. VEEDIMS already has 38 patents issued and pending, developing proprietary technology that delivers advanced and easily deployable solutions for commercial and consumer applications.

AS9100 is the quality management standard specific to the aerospace industry but it also includes the ISO 9001:2000 standard verbatim. Consequently, any company registered to AS9100 also meets the requirements of ISO 9001:2000 or 2008. In addition, this standard includes additional requirements specific to the unique requirements of the aerospace industry.

First published in May 1997 by the SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers) as AS9000, the AS standard has evolved to AS9100 Rev. C and is recognized by all major Aerospace OEMs.

ISO 9001

ISO 9001 is an International Quality Management System Standard that specifies requirements within which an organization demonstrates its ability to consistently provide product or service to meet customer and legal requirements, enhancing customer satisfaction and opening the way to continual improvement. The requirements are intended to be applicable to all organizations, regardless of type, size or product/service provided. Globally more than one million organizations have implemented ISO 9001 Management Systems (50,000 organizations in North America).
