Paul McCartney Lead Guitarist Issues New EP 'Rusty Anderson Afternoon II'
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) August 23, 2014 -- This past weekend, longtime Paul McCartney Lead guitarist Rusty Anderson celebrated the official 2014 release of his new album 'Rusty Anderson Afternoon EP II' with a gala performance at the Fullerton, CA Leo Fender Museum.
Anderson and fellow Los Angeles native Todd O’Keefe comprise the new band 'Rusty Anderson Afternoon,' and they've already earned success with the first single from the EP, "Effortless," which hit Number One on Sirius Radio “20 on 20.” The success of “Effortless” has been followed by the second single from the EP, a cover of 10cc’s “I’m Not in Love,” which is currently in rotation on Sirius Radio’s “The Blend.”

Los Angeles natives Rusty Anderson and Todd O’Keefe are the new band Rusty Anderson Afternoon. Best known as lead guitarist for Sir Paul McCartney for well over a decade, Rusty Anderson’s musical resume is unsurpassed. Todd O’Keefe is a respected Los Angeles musician whose work with The 88 has brought him substantial success in touring and song placement in TV shows and film. His partnership with Anderson is based on friendship between two musicians who are at heart, bandsmen.
