Ben Koyl, Libertarian Party Candidate for Attorney General, to Discuss Candidacy and Ballot Access Issues Facing Opposition Parties

Ben Koyl, Libertarian Party Candidate for Attorney General, will announce his candidacy and his platform at this scheduled press conference. He will also discuss issues related to the ballot access objection filed by members of the Republican Party.

The Libertarian Party slate was certified by the Illinois State Board of Elections on 8/22/2014, 14 SOEB GE 515 (IL State Board of Elections 2014). Ben Koyl, Libertarian Party Candidate for Illinois Attorney will hold a press conference at 17 North State Street, Suite 1700, Chicago, IL 60602 on Wednesday 8/27/2014 at 11:00 A.M to discuss ballot access issues (including allegations of the use of Morrison Security hired by John Fogarty, attorney for the objecting parties) and his candidacy. First, the candidate will make a short statement concerning his campaign platform, the ballot access process, and the reported use of private security to approach Libertarian Party petition gatherers and signers. The candidate will then be available to answer questions from the press.

An informational packet will be distributed to members of the press immediately prior to the start of the press conference.
