In the most recent update, thousands of new records were added to Propensity Lists. These lists contain compiled business-to-consumer (B2C) data, indicating strength of preference for a wide variety of branded goods. The files are compiled based on consumer-reported survey responses, as well as consumer behavior such as credit card transactions.
The processes that are used to clean Exact Data’s consumer records are specific to each marketing channel provided by the company. Email Data is verified for opt-in status and then checked for activity and responsiveness by BriteVerify. Postal records are updated based on data from the NCOA (National Change of Address), provided by the US Postal Service. Finally, phone numbers contained in Propensity Lists are scrubbed free of any DNC (Do Not Call) information.
