Dynamic Graphics®, Inc. Releases WellArchitect® 4.1
Denver, CO (PRWEB) August 25, 2014 -- Dynamic Graphics (DGI) announces a new version of its well planning / directional drilling software, WellArchitect 4.1. In addition to numerous upgrades for the WellArchitect client-base, WellArchitect 4.1 offers a new tool to the industry: interactive 3D collision-avoidance / clearance-scan visualization available during planning and while projecting ahead during drilling. The new tools display collision-avoidance symbols and 3D MASD (minimum allowable separation distance) tubes in the Well Path Designer’s Viewer. The collision-avoidance symbols can be used to highlight areas of concern in the 3D Viewer that would not be readily visible by reviewing traditional reports. In addition, the new collision-avoidance symbols can remain displayed in the Viewer while the user modifies a plan, allowing revisions to be visualized against the clearance-scan information. Demonstrations of the new features of WellArchitect 4.1, along with other DGI software products, will be available at the Dynamic Graphics booth, #1925, at Unconventional Resources Technology Conference (URTeC), August 25-27, 2014.
