Building Intelligence Inc. Receives Lenel Factory Certification Under Lenel’s OpenAccess Alliance Program
New York NY (PRWEB) August 27, 2014 -- Building Intelligence today announced that it has received Lenel factory certification and joined the Lenel OpenAccess Alliance Program (OAAP). Building Intelligence’s SV3 (Secure Vehicle, Visitor, Vendor) Cloud application integrates with the OnGuard® access control system and will onboard visitor identity information into the access control database, assigning a temporary access level for automated, controlled entry.
The result is a documented, auditable entry record in both SV3 and in the OnGuard access control database for Vendors, Visitors and their Vehicles as they enter the secured areas of a facility. Whether a vehicle is entering the parking area for visitor parking or is a commercial delivery vehicle entering the loading dock area – SV3 provides confirmation to security personnel as to whether the visitor and vehicle are associated with an authorized company and/or are scheduled to be on sight at that time.
Upon validation of the customer’s requirements, SV3 on-boards the identity information into Lenel OnGuard for a documented indisputable audit trail. This extends the concepts of identity and access control to include vehicle and non-employee information detected at the perimeter in a unique, efficient, even mobile method.
“Building Intelligence has completed required factory testing at Lenel to validate the functionality of its interface to OnGuard. SV3, a cost effective cloud solution to validate the identity and access authorization of vehicles, visitors and vendors extends our access control value proposition to our customers. With SV3 integrated to OnGuard, the access can be controlled beyond those who are issued an access badge. SV3 uniquely stops the unknown, uninvited threats at the perimeter,” said Gidon Lissai, director of strategic alliances, Lenel. “We look forward to their continued involvement in the Lenel OpenAccess Alliance Program.”
