Jon teaches a Samba Groove Pattern for guitar from the song Spain by Chick Corea. This style of playing appears to be very difficult, but MacLennan does a great job of demonstrating it so you can easily follow along. Jon performs the riff by playing with his fingers instead of a pick and incorporates some percussive string slapping into the rhythm which he thoroughly demonstrates with a GM7 (G major seven) chord.
