Announcement: GuitarControl.com Releases “Basic Samba Rhythm for Guitar - Easy Rhythm Guitar Lesson”
(PRWEB) August 25, 2014 -- Jon demonstrates how to play this Samba rhythm in 2/4 time, two beats per measure, with a CM9 (C major nine) chord played as follows; 3rd fret of the 5th string with 2nd finger, 2nd fret of the 4th string with first finger, 4th fret of the 3rd string with 4th finger and 3rd fret of the 2nd string with 4th finger. MacLennan performs the riff using his fingers instead of a guitar pick and plays the bass notes on the down beats and the higher notes on the up beats. Jon continues by performing the riff so you can easily follow along with him. After you have the basic idea down you can easily use it with other chord voicing’s. Guitar TAB’s are available for this easy Samba guitar lesson at GuitarControl.com.
A Samba is a lively rhythmic Brazilian dance that originates in 2/4 time, but is also done in 3/4 time as well since its inception in the 19th century.
