UNCG Announces 2014-15 Guarantee Scholars
Greensboro, NC (PRWEB) August 25, 2014 -- At the start of the 2014-15 academic year, The University of North Carolina at Greensboro welcomed 34 new UNCG Guarantee Scholars from across the state.
UNCG Guarantee is the result of $6 million gift to the university from an anonymous donor in February 2009. UNCG Guarantee helps in-state students graduate from UNCG in four years with little or no debt, and provides a support program to encourage academic and personal success. Guarantee Scholars must be recent high school graduates, meet UNCG’s academic criteria and show a demonstrated need based on family income.
