In 2006, Michele Bachmann became the first Republican woman elected to represent Minnesota in the U. S. House of Representatives and in 2011 was listed in TIME Magazine's "100 Most Influential People" and Forbes Magazine's "World's 100 Most Powerful Women." In Congress, Bachmann is a member of the Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, the Financial Services Committee and is co-chair of the Adoption and Foster Care Caucuses. Prior to serving in Congress, Bachmann served in the Minnesota State Senate from 2000-2006 and worked on hundreds of civil and criminal cases as a federal tax litigation attorney. The Bachmann's have five biological children and have cared for 23 foster children while continuing to fight tirelessly for the rights for those with no voice.
Isik Abla, ordained minister and international ministry speaker, was raised in a Muslim home in Turkey. She was physically abused and sadly escaped from that environment into an even more dangerous situation at the hands of her Muslim husband. At 25, she fled for her life to America. After years of struggling, Isik entered into intense depression. Isik had a personal encounter with God on the day she was planning her suicide, and then received a supernatural healing from Jesus. After several years of holding high positions in the secular environment, Isik obeyed God’s call to full time ministry and became an ordained minister and an evangelist. Isik hosts a TV program in five languages that broadcasts to the Middle East and Europe. Her messages are full of love, healing and freedom through Christ.
