ChiLiving® will host its inaugural ChiWeekend on October 24-26, 2014 in Asheville, NC at holistic retreat center, Om Sanctuary. This active retreat, led by ChiRunning & ChiWalking founders, Katherine and Danny Dreyer, offers beginner to seasoned runners and walkers the ability to learn techniques that support a lifetime of pain-free, injury-free movement in a beautiful, serene setting.
Nestled in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains during Asheville’s peak Fall season, this educational program is delivered in a non-competitive, supportive environment. ChiWeekend participants will receive personalized and group instruction in the technique of their choice: ChiRunning, ChiWalking, or ChiWalk-Run. They will also learn ChiLiving skills and concepts that promote balanced, mindful living.
Om Sanctuary’s 54-acre property includes a meditation room, wellness center, gardens and trails, providing participants ample space to relax and reflect. While the property is tucked in the mountains, Om is just a five minute drive from downtown Asheville, giving visitors easy access to restaurants, shopping, and attractions. Participants will also enjoy mountain views and the brilliant colors of Asheville’s peak Fall season as they explore the Chi techniques and philosophy.
