ERT President & CEO Named Editor-in-Chief of New Industry Journal
Philadelphia, PA (PRWEB) August 26, 2014 -- ERT, a leading global solution provider for high-quality patient safety and efficacy endpoint data collection, today announced that its President and CEO, Jeffrey S. Litwin, M.D. has been named editor-in-chief of MultiMedia LLC’s new peer-reviewed publication: Journal of Clinical Trial Results. The online, open-access publication serves researchers, clinicians, and other professionals interested in the outcomes of clinical trials.
Dr. Litwin was selected to lead the editorial content of Journal of Clinical Trial Results based on his extensive clinical trials background and his experience as an editorial board member and reviewer for two other clinical publications. A board-certified cardiologist and internist, Dr. Litwin is considered an industry thought leader and is an advocate of sharing clinical data to improve the science of research and decrease clinical research costs.
“I’m delighted to work with MultiMedia as they launch this novel publication,” said Dr. Litwin. “Although many journals focus on positive results from high-profile trials, data from all clinical studies remain valuable contributions to the medical literature. The sharing of trials that have not resulted in a successful outcome is rare, and by publishing this information, the Journal of Clinical Trial Results will make a great contribution to our knowledge base.”
As President and CEO of ERT, Dr. Litwin leads the organization in providing effective solutions and services that increase the accuracy and reliability of patient data that it collects, analyzes and delivers for the clinical drug development and healthcare industries.
