Liberty Nebraska Regional Center Selects NES Financial’s EB-5 Escrow and Fund Administration Solutions for Marriott Hotel Project
San Jose, CA (PRWEB) August 28, 2014 -- NES Financial announced today that it has been chosen by Liberty Nebraska Regional Center to provide its EB-5 Escrow and EB-5 Fund Administration Solutions for the Regional Center’s latest project, the Capitol District Marriott Hotel in Omaha, Nebraska.
The EB-5 visa program, created in 1990, encourages investment into projects that stimulate U.S. job growth, while providing an opportunity for foreign nationals to become lawful permanent residents. An applicant’s investment is typically held in an EB-5 escrow account prior to investment in the New Commercial Enterprise, which then uses the funds to create jobs. In 1992, Congress enhanced the program by permitting the designation of EB-5 Regional Centers. An EB-5 Regional Center is a business approved by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) to coordinate and substantiate foreign investments into job-creating projects within a designated geographic area.
Liberty Nebraska Regional Center, part of Liberty Regional Centers, will be using the EB-5 funds in the development of the Capitol District Marriott Hotel. This new hotel will feature over 330 guest rooms located in the heart of downtown Omaha. The $80.7M hotel will be adjacent to the CenturyLink Center, a leading arena and convention center, and only a few minutes away from the largest indoor/outdoor shopping mall in the city.
“There is significant competition in the market for EB-5 investors. Providing the highest level of back end services has become a key differentiator in the eyes of prospective investors,” said David Keller, Managing Partner of Liberty Nebraska Regional Center. “We chose NES Financial to be our service provider because we like to align ourselves with the best of the best. Our investors are familiar with the expertise and level of service that NES Financial brings, and this enables us to better focus on the development and job creating aspects of the Capitol District Marriott Hotel project.”
NES Financial’s suite of EB-5 solutions was designed specifically for the EB-5 industry and addresses the needs of all the key stakeholders. By combining purpose-built technology, administration services, expertise, and full audit trail capabilities, the company is able to deliver the most comprehensive suite of solutions on the market that benefit Regional Centers, developers, banks, attorneys, and investors throughout the entire EB-5 process.
“While the EB-5 program has the benefit of being a low cost source of capital for developers, it is first and foremost an immigration program that creates American jobs,” said Reid Thomas, NES Financial Executive Vice President. “Our suite of EB-5 Solutions provides the necessary tools for EB-5 issuers to meet USCIS compliance requirements, thereby increasing the likelihood of a successful immigration application for investors.”
