Astrophysics, Inc. Hosts U.S. Congressman Edward Royce at Company Headquarters

Congressman Royce was also able to view a live demonstration of the Company’s next generation counter-terrorism technology. During his presentation to the Congressman, Astrophysics Founder and CEO, Francois Zayek, highlighted the Company’s recent growth, which has brought more than 50 new skilled jobs to the local area, and outlined his vision for continued expansion.

Astrophysics’ cutting edge threat detection systems use six-color imaging technology and enhanced viewing angles for more accurate detection of guns, explosive devices and other safety threats as well as contraband. The company’s systems are used at checkpoints in airports, courthouses and sporting events as well as in sea ports and at borders.
