Franchisee Chris Wadsworth is a proud Loudoun resident who lives in nearby Ashburn with his wife and three boys. The Wadsworth’s have signed a three-unit development agreement with Uncle Maddio’s and plan to open two more locations in Northern Virginia.
Unlike typical pizza places, Uncle Maddio’s offers guests the chance to design their own made-from-scratch 9-inch individual pizza with up to three toppings, baked in a little more than six minutes. They choose from traditional white, whole wheat or gluten-free crusts, and then have their choice from a variety of sauces, cheeses, fresh veggies and meats. There are also kid sized pizzas and larger sizes for big groups or big appetites. For those with special diets, Uncle Maddio's Pizza Joint serves up a huge selection of healthful options like whole wheat and gluten free crusts, hormone-free chicken, fresh local vegetables, Daiya vegan cheese and organic greens. Signature salads, create-your-own salads and toasted panini sandwiches round out the Italian-style menu.
