New York, New York (PRWEB) August 28, 2014
The legal media company Lawdragon Inc. has set a new deadline for nominations for the annual Lawdragon 500 Leading Lawyers in America guide, extending the deadline from Sept. 3 to Oct. 3. The company started accepting nominations on June 16, 2014, and has received hundreds of submissions so far. Submitters will be able to provide updates on their submissions until December 20, 2014.
This special issue will mark the magazine's 10th year in operation and take a look at the remarkable lawyers featured over the years. Lawdragon will begin announcing the new Lawdragon 500 members in late December and feature the complete guide in its 2015 Magazine. As always, the guide will commemorate those lawyers who have made the biggest impact on trials, deals, legal education, corporate affairs and social justice.
The Lawdragon 500 covers all practice areas and geographic regions, and it includes lawyers from private practices of all sizes, businesses, governments, law schools and public interest organizations. Lawyers selected for the 500 have generally been in practice more than 15 years, are considered leaders in their region and practice, and have specific recent achievements of note.
Law firms, companies and other organizations interested in nominating their attorneys can email submissions to Editor-in-Chief John Ryan at john(at)lawdragon(dot)com. In addition, any visitor to Lawdragon.com can nominate a lawyer at: http://www.lawdragon.com/the-2014-lawdragon-500-ballot. While Lawdragon’s editorial research is the most important factor in the selection process, submissions play an important role.
Lawdragon is a new media company that offers a unique platform for lawyers to reach consumers. In addition to attorney guides such as the Lawdragon 500, the website provides a powerful content platform combining editorial and sponsored content as well as a searchable database of legal professionals that includes online profiles of attorneys and firms. In Spring 2014, Lawdragon launched Lawdragon Campus, a law school search site and a legal education news hub.
