Revitalizing Democracy With ThePeopleGov.org: Giving People Unprecedented Access to the Government
Redding, CT (PRWEB) August 28, 2014 -- With ThePeopleGov.org, a free site Burroughs Media has just launched, they have given a voice back to the average citizen who can now reach 100’s of state and/or federal government representative in a few clicks. There are other sites on the Internet to contact government officials, but you have to do it one at a time and often the contact information is buried 2-3 levels down.
“People have busy lives, making a living. They need an easy and powerful way to be heard by their state and federal legislatures and hopefully get a message across about changing or creating laws and other concerns. With ThePeopleGov.org we hope to revitalize our democracy.”
President of Burroughs Media, Trace Burroughs, hopes that this new easy to navigate site will give the power back to the people - the foundation on which the United States was created; a government run by the people and not by special interest or corporate money. “We have strayed from true democracy, but we can get it back. We set an example for the rest of the world and they are watching us. We have no agenda with ThePeopleGov.org and it’s open to all people no matter what their cause is or law they want passed in Washington or their state. We believe if U.S. citizens regain their power to be heard in an easy and powerful way, good things will happen.”
This is a service free to the community. If enough people participate, it’s like a cyber march on Washington.
