Buffalo, NY (PRWEB) August 27, 2014
Rusty Nickel Brewing Co. (RNBC), one of Buffalo’s up-and-coming breweries, is set to hold their first public tasting this Wednesday, August 27, at The KegWorks Store on Military Rd. in Kenmore.
The KegWorks Store has hosted tastings with many of Buffalo’s breweries, but because Rusty Nickel has not been publicly released to date, this sort of premier is a first for them. “We’re really excited about this particular event,” says Tim Shisler, KegWorks’ Assistant Manager. “I’ve been working on it with the guys from RNBC for the last month or so, and they’re equally excited.”
No tickets or registration are needed for the event, “but come thirsty,” says Shisler. “They’re pouring their entire lineup of seven distinctive beers, and I personally intend to try a bit of each.”
Included in the tasting will be their summer ale, called “Pedal Pusher,” an English Porter, their “IPA 2.1,” a Nitro Vanilla Porter, their “Slice O’Havens” (an Imperial Orange Vanilla Creamsicle), an Altbier, and a Cream Ale they’re calling, “Not Yo Grandpa’s.”
Speaking on the event, Jason Havens, Rusty Nickel’s President said, “We’re really excited to introduce our beer to the Buffalo community. This beer is our passion and we know that KegWorks customers are the kind of people who will truly appreciate it.”
