Henry S. Miller Companies Announces Reorganization of Brokerage Group
Dallas, Texas (PRWEB) August 27, 2014 -- Last year when Greg Miller was announced as the new president and CEO of parent company, Henry S. Miller Companies he said he was determined to spark change. “Change isn’t always easy, but it is almost always necessary to ensure the growth of a company. Today begins our opportunity to create a more efficient and productive platform for our real estate business and we are committed to that end. We pride ourselves in creating a positive working environment where all our employees and associates are happy to come to work. This change is an opportunity for us to move forward into our second century with the ideals of our long and rich history and our passion for excellence in our field,” stated Miller in a memo to the company on Friday.
Last Friday marked a change as Sam Kartalis, Robert Grunnah and Greg Trout parted ways with Henry S. Miller Company to pursue other interests. “We thank Sam, Robert and Greg for their years of service and wish them the best as they pursue their new endeavors,” said Miller.
Dan Arnold has been chosen to take the helm as President and COO of the Henry S. Miller Brokerage group. Arnold first joined Henry S. Miller in 1970 as one of the original leasing agents on 2001 Bryan Tower. He left in 1972 to join The Swearingen Company as one of the founding partners. He spent 29 years at Swearingen where he headed both its Project Leasing and Tenant Representation / Corporate Services Divisions and ultimately served as its President and COO for more than 10 years. After selling his interest in the firm Arnold rejoined Henry S. Miller in 2000 to lead its Corporate Services Division. Arnold has been a consistent top producer throughout his career in the commercial real estate industry and represented hundreds of local firms as well as numerous Fortune 100 companies on a national scale. He is also a past recipient of the prestigious Stemmons Service Award, Dallas' top honor for commercial real estate brokers.
“Change presents opportunity - and I'm humbled and honored that the Miller family would consider me for such a strategic position. These are big shoes to fill. My goal will be to assess where we are, where we want to go and then those changes needed to create an atmosphere that will encourage and welcome new talent to join our team. It's a new day at Henry S. Miller with restructured leadership, state-of-the-art Research and Technology services and new opportunities to grow with one of the most respected names in real estate. So, we'll take it one day at a time and see where God leads us,” said Arnold.
“Dan provides us a combination of key leadership skills. He has a strong work ethic, unique organizational skills, and an intense focus with a long-term strategic view that has won the respect of both his clients and peers. His integrity, sense of fairness and the fact that he is one of Dallas’ most respected commercial real estate leaders immediately made him my first choice to lead our brokerage operations in the future. Our family is excited he agreed to accept the position and I am personally looking forward to working closely with him,” said Miller.
