Buena Park, Calif. (PRWEB) August 27, 2014 -- Yamaha Corporation of America, AV Division, today introduced the BD-S477 Blu-ray Disc™ player, which delivers great audio and video quality from CDs, DVDs, and Blu-ray Discs, as well as a diverse world of streaming entertainment.
This powerful Blu-ray Disc player is able to stream video, music, game content and images from mobile devices, the Internet and other components. It also supports the popular Yamaha AV Controller App for Apple® iOS and Android™ devices that provides seamless control of the player.
The BD-S477 has built-in Wi-Fi and Miracast™, enabling users to directly stream content wirelessly from compatible smartphones and tablet devices to share with family and friends. This player also provides the ability to view digital images using Picasa Web Albums™.

With a direct USB connection via the player’s front panel port, users are able to access content stored on portable devices and flash drives. This model is also DLNA Certified® and can wirelessly playback content from PCs and NAS devices.
