John Costlow Named President and CEO of Sustainable Energy Fund
Allentown, PA (PRWEB) August 29, 2014 -- For the past six years, John has been the director of technical services, managing ongoing operations including program development, strategic planning, information systems, administrative systems, metrics and reporting structure. Sustainable Energy Fund has been a leading funder of sustainable energy projects in Pennsylvania since 1999, when it was founded through a settlement approved by the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission during the Commonwealth’s electric deregulation proceedings.
John has played an integral role in Sustainable Energy Fund’s finance, education and regulatory efforts. Since John joined the organization, Sustainable Energy Fund has financed millions in sustainable energy projects including a portion of Pennsylvania’s largest solar array, a micro-hydro system to remediate acid mine drainage and an LED lighting retrofit at the Harrisburg Airport. In addition, John has helped to grow Sustainable Energy Fund’s award-winning Solar Scholars™ program into the mid-Atlantic region’s largest sustainable energy conference. Now known as Energypath, this annual event attracts hundreds of educators, students and professionals each year.
“We are excited to have John at the helm of Sustainable Energy Fund,” stated Alan Roman, chairman of the board of directors. “His extensive experience and commitment to sustainable energy will continue to benefit Sustainable Energy Fund and Pennsylvania energy users.”
