Welsh cockapoo breeder Jandaz Cockapoos is letting customers know that it offers new dog owners free pet insurance for four weeks.

Dog breeder Jandaz Cockapoos is reminding new customers that all their puppies include free Petplan pet insurance for four weeks.

The specialist pet insurer has been providing the Welsh cockapoo breeder, based in Llandysul, Ceredigion, with pet insurance for new litters for more than a decade.

After the free four weeks has ended, there is then the option for Jandaz customers to take out two types of dog insurance with Petplan - the Petplan Covered For Life option or Petplan Essential.

The Covered for Life plan covers against the ongoing costs of treating lifetime and chronic conditions with different tiers of options such as Classic with vet fees cover of up to £4,000 or £7,000 per year and Ultimate with up to £12,000 vet fees per year.

The policies offer standard benefits including Third Party Liability cover, complementary treatment, should the dog require specialist care such as hydrotherapy and advertising and reward.

With Petplan Essential dog owners benefit from a total of £3,500 cover and this includes cover for illnesses and injuries, hospitalisation, physiotherapy and emergency care carried out abroad, plus a host of other treatments.

Jandaz Cockapoos founder Janice Griffiths said: “Taking out pet insurance is very important in case the unexpected happens.

“At Jandaz Cockapoos, we’ve always offered new dog owners four weeks free fully comprehensive pet cover as it gives customers that peace of mind that from the moment they collect their puppy from us, he or she is insured against injury, illness, theft and more.

“We believe pet insurance is something that should be provided for new owners by all breeders. The welfare of all our puppies comes first at Jandaz Cockapoos.”

Jandaz Cockapoos vaccinates its puppies three times and all are health checked, wormed and treated for ear mites. Cockapoo parents are also eye-tested and Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA) cleared.
