Centenary College and the United Methodist Foundation of Louisiana will host the The Power of Legacy: Living Well Now and Into the Future seminar Thursday, September 4. Community members are invited to attend any or all sessions which take place from 10:00 – 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 – 2:00 p.m. in the Whited Room of Bynum Commons on Centenary campus. Participants will be treated to lunch at Centenary from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Presenters include Bob Carrell, Development Officer of the United Methodist Foundation of Louisiana and Dr. Gary Kindley, counselor, minister, and author of Growing Older Without Fear: The Nine Qualities of Successful Aging.
Geared towards baby boomers, participants will learn about converting assets into income, planned giving, and how to positively view the aging process.
