YesWellness Announced as a Finalist in the Canada Post E-Commerce Innovation Awards
Vancouver, British Columbia (PRWEB) August 29, 2014 -- Finalists for the third annual Canada Post E-commerce Innovation Awards were announced by Canada Post yesterday, and YesWellness is proud to report they have been nominated under the category of Best Mobile Experience (Small). According to the Canada Post website, the E-commerce Innovation Awards are intended to “honour companies that are transforming the Canadian retail space with their bold, visionary and sometimes surprising e-commerce strategies.” Moreover, the awards are designed to drive Canadian e-commerce growth while recognizing the country’s best online retailers.
The website also describes the various categories for which companies are nominated including Best Mobile Experience (large and small), Most Creative Marketing Campaign, Best E-commerce Shopping Experience, and Best Customer/Community Outreach. In 2014, YesWellness was nominated for an E-commerce Innovation Award alongside other cutting-edge innovators such as Telus, Hudson’s Bay, Aritzia, Best Buy, and MEC.
YesWellness representative Elissa Erickson expressed her excitement about the nomination, “we’ve worked very hard to create an e-commerce site that is comprehensive and easy to use no matter what platform you’re shopping from. This Canada Post E-commerce Innovation Award not only validates our efforts, but shows our customers that we are dedicated to creating a comfortable shopping environment from home or on-the-go!”
Indeed, according to Canada Post, the Best Mobile Experience award “recognizes the retailer that is providing customers with the best overall mobile shopping experience.” Finalists in this category “offer a complete and easy-to-use m-commerce process that is seamless, intuitive and customer-friendly, and that provides customers with the information and control they need and want.” Ms. Erickson elaborates on the mobile experience at YesWellness, “we wanted to utilize mobile technologies in such a way that our customers would not only be engaged in their shopping experience, but so that they could shop at their convenience and without many of the hassles encountered by users shopping through their mobile or tablet devices.”
As online shopping continues to grow in popularity throughout Canada and North America, Canada Post similarly expects parcel delivery to expand. Ultimately, these E-Commerce Innovation Awards connect the dots between online shopping and delivery in such a way that both industries benefit. Award winners will be selected by a panel of industry experts who will gather on September 23, 2014 along with the finalists to announce the award winners.
