V4Escrow Completes the Largest IP Address Transfer in Europe, Russia, and the Middle East
New York, NY (PRWEB) August 28, 2014 -- V4Escrow facilitated the largest IP address transfer in the RIPE (Réseaux IP Européens) region, which includes Europe, Russia, and the Middle East. The transaction was recorded on August 26, 2014 and totaled a transfer of one /13, which is the equivalent of 524,288 individual IP addresses. Details of the transfer are available on the RIPE NCC (Network Coordination Center) IPv4 Transfer Statistics List.
The transaction is the 15th largest global transfer of IP addresses and V4Escrow is proud to have been chosen from an elite group of brokerage houses to execute and integrate the complex transaction. In addition to the coordination of individuals on three continents, speaking four languages, and utilizing four currencies, V4 escrow navigated the complex legal, structural, and financial complications to seamlessly drive the transaction to fruition.
Mr. Elvis Daniel Velea, Chief Business Analyst of V4Escrow, is excited about all of the opportunities currently in the V4Escrow pipeline. Mr. Velea elaborates, “This is just the tip of the iceberg, as IPv4 addresses have become scarce, the pricing of the commodity has increased tremendously and we have seen a 5 fold increase in demand to V4Escrow for available ranges, particularly the transfer of large ranges. In addition, we have access to the most diverse and largest pool of IP addresses available globally.”
V4Escrow is proud to have been selected based on ethics, reputation, knowledge, and financial strength as the brokerage consulting all sides of the transaction. The transaction was initiated through an invitation for V4Escrow to participate in the International Governance Forum in October of 2013. Over the course of the last 9 months, V4Escrow participated and presented at several conferences and represented the contributing parties professionally, diligently, and successfully.
V4Escrow is an active member of the RIPE and APNIC (Asia Pacific Network Information Centre) communities and contributes to the development of the Internet policies and procedures. In addition, V4Escrow is a sponsor of the APNIC38 conference, held in Brisbane, Australia, between September 9 and September 19, 2014.
V4Escrow has designed the most efficient IP exchange mechanism to generate the greatest value for buyers and sellers of IP addresses.
