Sydney, New South Wales (PRWEB) September 15, 2014 -- Another amazing award for Blue Haven Pools is in sight. Managing director Remonda Ramirez has been nominated for CEO Magazine Executive of the Year 2014 Award.
The 36-year-old mother of three is the only female finalist in the category of Construction Executive of the Year.
"It's an honour to be named alongside some of Australia's best known business leaders in what is these prestigious business awards," Mrs Martinez said. No stranger to the swimming pool business, Mrs Martinez is the daughter of industry stalwart Ray Awadallah who started the iconic Blue Haven Pools business in the 1970s.
"Pools are definitely in my blood since my childhood – My dad has been the owner of Blue Haven Pools and I started to work when I was 14 years old," she said.
By the age of 23 Mrs Martinez was one of Australia's youngest CEOs running her own multi-million dollar swimming pool company. In 2011 the savvy businesswoman took over Blue Haven Pools as Managing Director. Since then she has returned Blue Haven Pools to its roots as a family owned and operated business after buying out all of the business' franchises.
Mrs Martinez now overseas all facets of the business including sales, design, marketing and construction to ensure customer satisfaction. CEO Magazine's annual awards program aims to recognise the individual excellence and achievements of Australia's high-level executives.
The winners of the Awards will be announced on November 27 2014 at a glittering gala dinner in Sydney hosted by media personality Eddie McGuire.
