This new functionality is an add-on to the existing sales quote program. The current functionality requires a sales person to first add the complete information about the prospect before a quotation can be created for them. However with this new functionality VARS now do not have to enter the entire customer information in order to produce a quote for the prospect. They can simply add the prospect’s First & Last name, Email, zip code for freight calculation and add products and send a quote quickly.
This helps them to produce a much higher volume of quotes as now they do not have to enter the entire customer information of the new prospects. Once they have sent the quotation to the prospect and if that quotation is converted into a sale then the Sales person can go and add other information about the customer in order to complete the transaction.
