There’s a new sound coming to Texas! Local band TragedyOfAHero is excited to announce that they will soon be releasing their debut album. The post-hardcore band from Round Lake Beach, IL is expecting to release the album in fall 2014.

TragedyOfAHero is lead by 19-year-old singer James Sukpisan, who is from Chicago, IL. The other band members are Jacob Ramirez, Jacob Rudd and Adrian Ramirez. TragedyOfAHero was formed in 2011. They are a second generation band with a unique sound. Their post-hardcore style gives them an edge that separates them from other bands in the area.

The band believes that people can accomplish what they dream of and if they try really hard and believe in it, through life’s struggles and challenges, they can excel and be successful. A famous quote that TragedyOfAHero uses is “We Made Us, We Bury You.”

To promote their new album, TragedyOfAHero will be posting on a variety of social media outlets, including Facebook and They are expected to perform this fall at various places in San Antonio. In the past, the band has performed at The Rave in Milwaukee, WI, among others.

TragedyOfAHero is a five-piece post-hardcore band from Round Lake Beach, IL. Formed in 2011, TragedyOfAHero brings a unique sound to the genre, from synchronized breakdowns to heart-pounding choruses.
