Lakeville, Minnesota (PRWEB) August 28, 2014

Harman Stoves, a brand of Hearth & Home Technologies and maker of stoves that are “built to a standard, not a price,” is celebrating 35 successful years in business in 2014 – an important milestone for America’s leading manufacturer of premium stove products.

Since 1979, Harman has helped hundreds of thousands of consumers nationwide bring warmth to their homes with superior stoves. Today the brand continues to innovate with both its wood-burning and pellet product lines, focusing on keeping energy emissions low and families safe.

“Harman Stoves was started in Dane Harman’s garage in Pennsylvania, and in the 35 years since has solidified its position as the leading premium stove manufacturer, “said Karen Harman Smeltz, senior brand manager for Harman Stoves. “Our team is proud of that legacy, and is building on it with a continued commitment to developing innovative, powerful, and efficient products that help consumers heat their homes.”

In recognition of its 35th anniversary and in support of its American-made heritage, Harman is giving back by donating one of its popular P43 pellet stoves to a deserving U.S. military family each month from September through December 2014. Active and former military members can participate in the giveaway by visiting Harman’s website. Military families may also be nominated by their friends and family.

In further celebration of Harman’s 35 successful years in business, Hearth & Home Technologies recognized its members at a luncheon at the brand’s Halifax, Pennsylvania plant in mid-August.

“Our members demonstrate their incredible commitment to making quality stoves day in and day out,” said Robert Ballard, senior vice president of marketing for Hearth & Home Technologies. “They play a critical role in upholding the Harman legacy, and their dedication to the brand for the past 35 years is truly appreciated.”

The Commissioner’s Office of Dauphin County also got in on the celebration, officially declaring August 14th “Harman Celebrates 35 Years of Business Excellence Day.”

“Harman Stoves has been a pillar of the business community in Halifax for more than three decades. We were thrilled to proclaim August 14th ‘Harman Day’ in recognition of Harman’s success, its dedication to the town of Halifax and its impact on our local community,” said Jeff Haste, Dauphin County commissioner “From all of us in the Dauphin County Commissioners Office, congratulations to Harman Stoves on 35 successful years in business and this exciting anniversary milestone.”
