Claude demonstrates how to play this cool lick as follows: 13th fret of the first string with first finger, 15th fret with 2nd finger and 18th fret with 4th finger. Next Johnson moves to the 15th fret of the 2nd string with 2nd finger and then up to 18th fret with 4th finger and then back to the 15th fret to the 13th fret with first finger and then ascend back up the 18th fret and then back down to the 13th fret to the 15th fret and then back to the 13th fret to end. Johnson plays some variations of the lick as well as combining it with other licks and sequences so you can see how you can make it your own.
