Out Now: Dash Berlin's New Studio Album, 'We Are (Part 1)' (Armada Music)
New York, NY (PRWEB) August 29, 2014 -- After a summer of relentless touring and bringing his song-based, high-energy music to leading U.S./North American nightclubs and festivals, Dash Berlin is finally ready to release his latest full-length studio album, We Are (Part 1) (Armada Music) today. The steady drumbeat of anticipation from fans and the media alike evolved into a massive wave of demand for the songs on the new album. The first single from the album, Dash Berlin & Jay Cosmic ft Collin McLoughlin, “Here Tonight,” has already become a club and radio hit, with fans singing along to every word each night it’s played.
Dash Berlin – as well as other leading electronic dance music (EDM) DJs/producers – has been playing cuts from his album at every chance he gets in front of a live audience, and that can mean two or three live shows every weekend. The radio-friendly, song-based construction of Dash Berlin’s music allows for it to cross over from clubland into the mainstream, though the artist remains 100% committed to his own vision, regardless of any perceived aspirations.
The only thing more important than music to Dash Berlin is his fans, and he works tirelessly to stay connected with them. No matter where in the world he may be at any given moment on tour, he is always mindful of respecting and cherishing his fans. Said Dash Berlin of this album, “At the end of the day, it’s going to be your soundtrack, to your life, so let’s do this together.”
Since Armin van Buuren first discovered the Dash Berlin single, “Till The Sky Falls Down” and signed it to Armada Music, fans have been hungering for the next release from one of the world’s most celebrated entertainers. With a skilled touch honed during thousands of live DJ sets, Dash Berlin opens his album with “Earth Meets Water,” a summertime feel-good song amenable to fans of Coldplay. “People Of The Night” could very well be an unofficial anthem for Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) with its positive, humanity-loving vibes, whispery vocal backing and hands-in-the-air chorus. “Somehow” is a song brimming with girl-power set to a masculine beat and spiraling synths. “Underneath The Sky” is joyous and ready for radio with its 4/4 beat and fist-pumping attitude. The spirit soars on “Never Let You Go” with its swooning builds and big-room breakdown. The can-do perseverance of “Here Tonight” seems to bottle the sunshine and unleash it in brilliant audio waves of loving energy. Melodic, strumming synths underlie the vocals of “Leave It All Behind,” a song as at home on an episode of “The Voice” as it is on a festival field. Dash Berlin takes things a bit downtempo on the mournful and romantic “Shelter,” a ballad of devotion. In all, We Are (Part 1) is a gem of an album thoughtfully loaded with undeniably catchy, radio-friendly songs that elevate Dash Berlin as a songwriter of the highest degree.
