The Congress is organized by the Mexican Association of Broadcast Engineers and Technicians (AMITRA) and was hosted this year in Acapulco on August 7 - 9.
LBA’s International Business Development Specialist, Alberto Blanco presented the award to Miguel Fernandez Arias who is the Director of Engineering for the Mexican Institute of Radio (IMER). IMER might be considered similar to National Public Radio (NPR) in the US. LBA has proudly sponsored the AMITRA Engineer of the Year award for over ten years.
